I received unsolicited email from a person who posed to be a beautiful Russian girl looking for a husband. The signs are all well truly that this is a scammer (could be any one, could be a man even!) but later if this person wants to solicit money from me, s/he must give an address for money transfer. And that means the address and name will be that of a female who could be an accomplish in the scam. Here are a few funny things so far

- The email is unsolicited
- She never answers any of my questions. All the emails just seem to be full of lust, passion, love and kisses. They are sent on daily basis attached with very enticing sexy photos.
- Only 2-3 emails and she already propose to fly over to visit me. Now she does not use my name any more, just "My love".
- I found her profile on a couple of dating sites. I then send her an email from another fake me (email address), she responded inmmediately with the same email (because she only uses "My Love", no need to change the name!). The clear evidence is that she did not even bother starting all over again with the new fake me! She copied the 5th email to me and use that as the 1st email to the fake me.

Now she will have to split into two to meet the two "me"s at two different cities at the same time (:

I am sure soon she will start sending me email crying foul about Russian authorities and request for money to bribe them.

Is there any one here (in Russia) knows where I should report her so that she can be caught and punished by the authorities in Russia? I suppose I should scam this scam racquet until they have send me all sorts of enticing pictures, numerous requests for money, ... before I have enough evidence to report to Russian authority.

I think the best thing we can do to help the honest ladies in Russia is to punish all these scammers. We must scam them to frighten them out of business! I will keep this thread posted about my progress in scamming this scammer. I hope this scammer does not read this board

Now she is asking me and my fake me to send money over without even knowing where to book tickets to fly to. She starts with small sum first.

Now that I have the full name and address to send money, would this be enough for the Russian authority to start an investigation? Would any one comment on this?

Well I am not sure where to report it but I am sure that it will take ages to react. The best way to fight it is the same as when fighting spam: just ignore it. Go on and look for someone sincere (please read here how to get through). Let scammers catch stupids.

I think the problem with many Westerners is that they are not street wise like those in poorer countries. It's only natural that people in a rich country who are educated to become professionals in their fields are not streetwise. That does not mean they are stupid at all. They can be very alerted and cruel in their own professional areas but they can be very naive in others, especially when it is about personal relationships. And they are as gullible as any others when it comes to easy money. That's why they got sucked into Nigerian scams and the like.

I think scammers do a lot damage to the honest people both Westerners and Russian women. I read on another forum, a US man posted a message asking for opinions. He starts to suspect that a woman in Russia is a scammer when she asks for only a bit of help for buying medicine and he sends only total $70. The funny thing is that he already spent thousands to visit her twice and started a relationship with her. This reveals the face of a selfish US man. But surely all the things scammers do are causing a lot of damage.

Elena's Models is typical russian site for naive americans. It's money sucker!!! There are a lot of worthy american sites, where you may find a worthy lady - educated, intelligent, no drama and heavy past luggage!!!And with very little money. What the rule is? to pay for the woman address! Horrible!!!And most of those women even don't know English. It's a stone age! I'm pitty those men, who allows to catch them.
