There's this really cute girl at my school who's really populer, I'm know as a sort of geek I don't look like it but i act like one. Any way her and I are friends, and I want to ask her out but i'm afraid she'll say no and hate me forever. Thats what happened to my friend when he asked some other girl.
I want to know how i would go about asking her, and how to get over this fear. |

I have an excellent suggestion for you...
How about you hook up with a friend and his girl.... or even a larger group....as long as it has both guys and gals....
plan an activity (a park, a movie, a concert, a dinner gathering, a club scene, or a meeting concerning a shared interest of you both)) and invite her as part of the group.... instead of just "bushwhacking" her (and yourself) with a "personal date request", just an invite to a group activity.....
you can then find out if she has even a passing interest WITHOUT the "trauma or embarrassment" of being PERSONALLY turned down.... and if she accepts, make sure you express an interest in her and her "comforts" (but do not OVER-DO it) just enough to indicate clearly to her that SHE is more important to you than the activity or your friends.... but remember, do not over-do it!!
Make sure after the activity is over that you express to her how much you enjoyed it AND her company, but do not ask for a personal date until she responds...perhaps a few times together in GROUPS will demonstrate to her that you prefer her company, and are interested to the extent that you intend to be a gentleman and do things the proper way...RESPECT, my friend....
Gives you both "good time" together so you BOTH can see if you enjoy each others company before considering a personal "one-on-one" date.....
With this, I wish you luck!! _________________ A true southern gentleman who holds dearly the values and ways of the Old South, except for the prejudices many (wrongly) associate with such. |
